Professor of Zoology, Cornell University. Benjamin P. Young received a B.A. from the University of Kansas in 1908 and a Ph.D. from Cornell in 1919. For seven years following his graduation he served as a high school principal and as city school superintendent in Kansas. From 1915 to 1917, he served as an instructor in entomology at the University of Kansas.
